I have known & worked with Bob Ramey since around 2000 – both as a co-worker and as freelance. As I was a Graphic Designer & Co-worker I could always count on Bob to help find a solution that was best for any given project. Very dependable, met project deadlines, and communicated well with clients. Not to mention that he’s a great guy – very personable.

After Bob and I left where we were both jointly employed around 2005/06 (taking separate job opportunities) I continued to work with him on my own personal web projects and on projects with my current employer. Using Bob as a freelance contractor for development when needed, he is always reliable and trustworthy. We can count on him, as always, to dig in and help out with a variety of projects – working within deadlines, using smart new & proven coding techniques, and bringing his experience and knowledge to every project. Bob Ramey is always my number one choice for freelance development work.

I cannot say enough good things about Bob Ramey and his skills. Last year my previous web hosting company “lost” my website – and didn’t have a backup. I needed a new website – and fast. I will admit to not being technically savvy so I was really in the dark as to the process for creating a website, and with a modest budget. Upon speaking with Bob my fears were put to rest. He explained (in terms I could understand) how he could put together a WordPress website at a reasonable cost, and fairly quickly. After I provided him with examples of other law firm websites whose “look” and layout I liked he found several WordPress templates that were close in style from which I could choose. Within 5 minutes the “style” was selected. He then scoured stock photo websites for “legal” looking photographs to add to the site and gave me samples from which to select.

Within a short time frame he took the content I provided him and made a wonderful, clean, easy to navigate and extremely professional looking website. I actually get compliments on it!! And he did all of this in a short amount of time as he knew it was urgent for me to regain a web presence. And when it was up and running, he trained me on how I can edit it in the future should I want. He was extremely patient with me (I asked lots of questions) very responsive and made the process so much less painful than I feared it might be. And, he came in at the budget he quoted me at the outset. I refer people to Bob anytime I hear they need a new website, and will continue to do so.

As a designer, I most appreciate that Bob is not only a great developer, but someone who appreciates and truly understands that the goal of his work is better communications for our clients. He is a problem solver, a creative thinker, and just a smart guy who knows how to speak plain English to designers and clients alike. Most importantly, he elevates our work every step of the way and is integral to everything we do.
